Terms

Terms of Service — commercial draft

1. Service

Yevly Resume provides automated résumé editing assistance based on a résumé and job listing supplied by the user. It improves wording, organization, ATS alignment, and emphasis while attempting to preserve the truth. Yevly is not a recruiter, employer, legal adviser, or employment agency.

2. No employment guarantee

Job Match Score measures alignment with the supplied job listing. It is not an interview, hiring, offer, or recruiter prediction. Yevly does not guarantee interviews, employment, compensation, promotion, or any hiring outcome.

3. User responsibilities

  • You must have authority to upload and process the documents you provide.
  • You must review every result before using or submitting it and correct any error.
  • You remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, and suitability of application materials.
  • You may not use Yevly Resume to fabricate experience, qualifications, references, credentials, metrics, or other material facts.
  • You may not upload malware, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, abuse the service, evade limits, resell access, or interfere with security.

4. Accounts and security

You must protect account credentials and promptly report suspected compromise. Yevly may require email verification, recent authentication, or multi-factor authentication for sensitive activity. Access may be restricted for fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirements, payment disputes, or material violations.

5. Credits and prices

Yevly uses one-time credits rather than an MVP subscription: one credit for $4.99, three for $9.99, or ten for $19.99, subject to taxes and lawful price changes. One successfully unlocked Yevly Resume optimization consumes one credit exactly once. Credits do not expire while an account remains active, are non-transferable, are not a bank account or stored-value wallet, and have no general cash-redemption right. Re-downloads and regeneration of an unlocked result use no additional credit.

6. Payment, delivery failure, and refunds

Stripe processes payment details; Yevly does not receive card numbers or CVC. Credits are added only after verified payment confirmation. A failed optimization does not consume a credit. If both premium file formats fail final delivery, the unlock credit is restored once. Refunds for unused attributable credits may be available under the final refund policy and applicable law; spent credits, taxes, disputes, and partial refunds may require support review. Final cancellation, refund-window, and consumer-right language requires legal review.

7. Intellectual property

You retain rights you hold in uploaded content and results, subject to third-party rights. You grant Yevly the limited permission needed to process, store, transform, validate, and deliver that content for the service. Yevly’s software, branding, scoring methodology, templates, and service materials remain protected by applicable rights. Final ownership and license language requires counsel review.

8. Availability and changes

The service may be delayed or unavailable because of maintenance, security response, provider outage, legal requirements, or technical limits. Yevly may change features, providers, limits, or prices prospectively. Material commercial or privacy changes require appropriate notice.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Automated editing can make mistakes. You must review the final files. Warranty disclaimers, liability caps, indemnity, exclusions, and statutory consumer-right exceptions must be drafted for the launch entity and jurisdictions by qualified counsel; no private preview text should be treated as a waiver of non-waivable rights.

10. Termination and deletion

You may request account deletion in Settings. Eligible private content is removed under the published retention schedule while required accounting and security evidence may remain. Yevly may suspend or terminate access for prohibited activity, security threats, fraud, or legal obligations, subject to applicable law and final appeal/support terms.

11. Disputes and governing terms

The legal entity, governing law, venue, arbitration or court process, class-action terms, notice address, and consumer-law disclosures remain launch-blocking open decisions and must not be inferred from this draft.

12. Contact and acceptance

Use the contact page for metadata-only support. A verified legal contact and the mechanism for recording acceptance to the final Terms must be configured before commercial launch.
